OUR STORY
DESIGNER
EDXÚ is a London-based independent fine jewellery brand dedicated to crafting architectural and mindful designs. Founded by award-winning designer Edward Xú, the brand was born from his vision to create jewellery that resonates emotionally and promotes a more sustainable approach within the industry. EDXÚ has been recognised by the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council, major UK jewellery awards, and The Goldsmiths’ Centre. Its pieces have been featured in leading jewellery, fashion, and luxury publications, and are worn by celebrated artists and performers.
The name EDXÚ reflects Edward’s two worlds: “ED” represents his life, education, and career in London, while “XÚ” honours his heritage in Canton, China. Having spent equal parts of his life in both places, a commitment to cross-cultural appreciation is central to the brand’s ethos. Guided by values of ethics, curiosity, and authenticity, EDXÚ is a brand shaped by principle and purpose.
Edward graduated from Central Saint Martins, London, in 2011 and went on to work with renowned names such as Solange Azagury-Partridge and Tateossian. He has also contributed to luxury projects for Ermenegildo Zegna, Canali, Cartier, and Swarovski. In 2020, he earned a distinction in MA Luxury Brand Management from the University for the Creative Arts, Epsom.
JOURNEY
Edward’s passion for jewellery began in childhood, growing up in China. Early visits to antique markets in Canton sparked his love for finely crafted objects—from delicate porcelain vases at Tianguang Market to carved gemstone jewellery in Les Puces, Paris, and intricate metal and wooden jewellery boxes discovered at a Hackney flea market. These treasured encounters with timeless antiques shaped his journey and helped him find his true calling.
Driven by this passion, Edward moved to London to study at Central Saint Martins College and pursue his dream of becoming a jewellery designer. He believes that the ability to observe, understand, and empathise is both essential and a gift that deeply informs his creative process.

“I started my namesake brand EDXÚ following the dream of creating resonating designs and inspiring others to a more sustainable jewellery life cycle.”

JEWELLERY
Each piece of jewellery carries a whispered sentiment, a silent bond between wearer and craft. Edward’s mission is to preserve, to reimagine, and to celebrate this profound connection. EDXÚ designs are conceptual, philosophical, and non-binary. They were inspired by the bold lines of 20th-century architecture, the brushstrokes of art, and the timeless tales of life and nature.
Drawing from a rich tapestry of influences—Brutalist structures, Art Deco elegance, Cubist canvases, and antique treasures—Edward sees the world as an interconnected story. Through his unique vision, every EDXÚ piece becomes a vessel of stories and creativity, carrying the poetry of time and imagination.
