TAKING CARE OF YOUR JEWELLERY

Follow these tips to preserve the beauty and longevity of your EDXÚ pieces:

  1. Storage – Store each item separately in its EDXÚ pouch or box to prevent scratches, tangling, or damage. A jewellery box or tray also keeps your collection organised and safe.

  2. Avoid Sunlight – Protect your jewellery from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat. Store in a cool, dark, and dry place.

  3. Prevent Oxidation – To slow down tarnishing, place your jewellery in a sealed plastic bag to reduce exposure to air.

  4. Fasten Chains – Always fasten chains and bracelets before storing to avoid tangling.

  5. Protect from Discolouration – Avoid contact with water, humidity, and extreme heat, which can cause discolouration.

  6. Minimise Exposure – Keep your jewellery away from chemicals such as perfumes, lotions, makeup, deodorant, nail polish remover, and household cleaners.

    Although our pieces are waterproof, we recommend removing them before swimming, showering, exercising, or visiting saunas to prevent scratches and wear to the plating.

CLEANING YOUR JEWELLERY

Over time, sterling silver and even karat gold jewellery can lose their original shine. Follow these three simple steps to clean and restore your pieces:

1. Wash - Gently clean your jewellery with warm water and mild hand soap using a soft toothbrush. Be mindful of materials like leather or certain gemstones that may not be water-safe. Alternatively, you can use an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner if it is suitable for your piece.

2. Clean - Maintain the shine using our EDXÚ beige cleaning cloth (non-treated) or any soft, non-abrasive jewellery cloth.

3. Polish - For tarnish or light discolouration, gently rub the affected area with the EDXÚ white cloth infused with an anti-tarnish solution. A similar anti-tarnish cloth will also work.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR LEATHER GOODS

Leather is a natural material, and with use and cleaning, it may shrink or develop subtle colour variations. To preserve its quality:

  1. Clean – Avoid using household cleaning products. Instead, gently clean with mild soap and water.

  2. Wet Conditions – If the leather gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally. Do not rub with coarse fabrics.

  3. Storage – Keep leather goods away from direct sunlight and heat. Store in a cool, dry, and dark place, away from heaters or open flames.

WARRANTY

All EDXÚ products come with a 24-month limited warranty. Bespoke and Reimagine products come with a 60-month limited warranty from the date of purchase covering:

  1. Manufacturing defects but do not cover fair wear and tear, accidental damage or misuse, scratches or dents. 

  2. For the warranty to be valid, proof of purchase is required. 

  3. Warranty does not entitle you to replacements or refunds for lost or stolen items or gemstones.
