PRODUCT INFORMATION
DO YOU USE NATURAL OR LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS?
All diamonds in our ready-to-wear collection are natural. However, for Bespoke, Reimagine, and made-to-order projects, we offer both natural and lab-grown diamonds.
A lab-grown diamond is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond. Natural diamonds are formed deep within the Earth's mantle under immense pressure and heat. Similarly, lab-grown diamonds are created using extreme pressure and heat, but in a controlled environment. In essence, a lab-grown diamond is a real diamond.
To learn more about diamonds, please visit our Gemstone Guide.

These resources will provide you with essential knowledge to confidently choose your jewellery.

WHAT IS GOLD PLATING AND GOLD VERMEIL?
When jewellery is gold plated, it means a base metal has been coated with a thin layer of gold. Over time, and with regular wear, this gold layer can eventually wear off, revealing the material underneath.
Gold vermeil (pronounced ver-may) refers to sterling silver jewellery that has been heavily plated with gold, typically with a minimum thickness of 2.5 microns. All our gold vermeil pieces are plated to this minimum standard to ensure lasting durability.
With proper care and maintenance, both gold-plated and gold vermeil jewellery can last for years. For tips on how to look after your pieces, please visit our Product Care page. If you have any questions, feel free to email us.
Should the plating on your EDXÚ jewellery eventually wear off, we're happy to offer replating services at a small cost.
WHAT IS RHODIUM PLATING?
Rhodium is a durable and precious white metal primarily used in jewellery plating. It enhances the piece with an attractive lustrous sheen and a soft glow, reflecting light beautifully. The majority of our white metal jewellery features rhodium plating, providing an additional layer of protection. You can find specific plating information on each product page.
DO YOU OFFER RESIZING?
We offer one complimentary resizing for all Bespoke, Reimagine, and made-to-order items within 60 days of purchase.
For other purchases, resizing services are available at a cost. The price will vary based on the required size adjustment and the complexity of the design. Please contact us for more information and a personalised quote.
BESPOKE & REIMAGINE
WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF A BESPOKE DESIGN?
Our Bespoke and Reimagine services follow a clear, step-by-step process to bring your unique jewellery vision to life:
Stage 1 – Consultation: You're invited to a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your ideas, inspirations, and creative briefs. If you're interested in our Reimagine service, we provide a complimentary inspection and valuation of your existing jewellery. We'll also offer a professional assessment of your concepts and provide valuable tips and suggestions on jewellery and gemstones.
Stage 2 – Designing: Once you're happy to commission us, a design deposit fee of £200 per design is payable via our approved payment methods. Upon receipt of this deposit, we'll formally enter a contract of sale for the customised product and service. Please note the design deposit is non-refundable but will be credited towards your final fee. The deposit amount may vary depending on the quantity or complexity of the designs, and we'll inform you of any such adjustments through your provided contact information.
Stage 3 – Developing: We'll create drawings based on your brief and send them to you via email (or your preferred communication channel) for your review. You can request changes at this point, with two rounds of amendments included in our pricing. Additional rounds of amendments may incur extra costs. Once you approve the final technical drawing, we'll provide you with an accurate final fee for your customised products, including our service. Any changes made beyond this point may affect the quoted price. This fee quotation is valid for 30 days.
Stage 4 – Confirmation: After you accept our price, a crafting deposit of 50% of the quoted fee is required via our approved payment methods. Please be aware that cancelling your order after this stage may result in the forfeiture of the crafting deposit. We'll then create a 3D rendering based on the approved drawing to ensure maximum accuracy. At this stage, only minor changes are possible, such as adjustments to product size, gemstone size, gemstone quality or colour (subject to availability), stone setting type, metal finishing, enamel colour, engraving, or other minor design modifications within reason. Any such changes may affect the quoted fee, and we'll inform you accordingly through your provided contact information.
Stage 5 – Crafting: Once you approve the 3D rendering, we'll commence the crafting process. This stage typically takes 4-8 weeks, depending on the quantity and complexity of the designs. If you require your customised product sooner, please request this prior to this stage. No changes can be made after this point. Upon completion, your item will be sent to the UK Assay Office for testing and hallmarking. Your finished piece will come with our elegant packaging, relevant gemstones (if applicable) and jewellery certificates, and a warranty, a travel pouch and a cleaning kit. You can either personally pick up your order from our studio or we can arrange delivery to your designated address via our available shipping methods; please visit our shipping & returns section for more details.

DO YOU ACCEPT EXCHANGE OR RETURNS?
Our comprehensive Exchange and Return Policy is detailed on our Shipping & Returns page, which we recommend you review before placing an order.
We're happy to arrange an exchange or full refund within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with the Online & Distance Selling Regulations. For a successful return, the product must be in perfectly unused condition and its original packaging. Once authorised, you have a further 14 days to send the return back to us.
Additionally, Bespoke and Reimagine (re-purposed) jewellery, engraved items, and customisation orders are not eligible for exchange or return.
Before posting your package, please contact us to obtain a Return Authorisation Number and other necessary information to complete the process. Alternatively, you can return the item in person to our London studio; simply book an appointment before your visit.
Every piece we create is handcrafted with love and care. If, for any reason, you're unhappy with your purchase, we'd like to hear from you. Please don't hesitate to get in touch.
HOW DO I CHECK WHETHER THE JEWELLERY IS GENUINE?
To identify genuine EDXÚ jewellery, look for our branded logo on the back or inside of the piece. Your product should also come with a warranty and authenticity card.
For real gold or platinum, look for the EDXÚ's hallmark on the jewellery's back or inside. You can learn more about hallmarking by visiting our Hallmark page.
For silver, check for the '925' mark on the back or inside of the jewellery.
To identify a genuine diamond, we recommend checking the stone's original certificate and verifying the report on the laboratory's official website. For all other gemstones, please get in touch, and we'll be happy to evaluate them for you.
