WHAT IS REIMAGINE?

One of the core values and the main reason we started EDXÚ is to encourage and promote an ethical and sustainable way to produce and wear jewellery. Revisting valuable old jewellery pieces can be an emotional experience. But how can we turn this experience from ‘visiting’ to ‘wearing’?

Reimagine is a sustainable and unique jewellery service that re-designs and re-purposes your existing jewellery into a new masterpiece. 

Imagine if you can turn your old sentimental pieces into new sparkling jewellery. You will be able to use the same metal and gemstones from the existing pieces to create one of a kind designs that are entirely tailored for you and co-created by you. Using this sustainable and ethical way to handcraft your jewellery, the love and the sentiment live on.

  • In 3 simple and rewarding steps to create a one of a kind jewellery just for you.

    1. APPOINTMENT

    Book a free consultation appointment with us and bring in your old jewellery for an assessment. Video appointment is also available.

    2. DESIGN

    After understanding your budget, requirements and artistic direction, we will outline ideas for further development. A deposit of £200 is payable if you decide to go ahead with the service. Please read our full Terms & Conditions for Bespoke Items. We will fully explore the given creative briefs, source your desired gemstones and communicate through email, phone or video chat.

    3. CRAFTING

    Once the design and the cost are confirmed we will produce a 3D rendering (depends on the design) for your final approval. 50% of the final fee is payable before making the design. The crafting process takes approximately 6 - 8 weeks (depends on complexity).

    AFTERCARE

    A finished product will be delivered to you with a 60-month limited warranty. If you have questions, we are always here to help.

    Our Reimagine Service includes consultation, designing, material sourcing, handcrafting, hallmarking and aftercare.

    2. JEWELLERY

    Your Reimagine Jewellery.

    3. ACCESSORIES

    An EDXÚ jewellery box, a suedette travel pouch and a cleaning kit.

    4. DRAWING

    A signed and stamped bespoke drawing.

    5. CERTIFICATES

    An EDXÚ warranty and authenticity card (Reimagine & Bespoke jewellery enjoy a 60 month limited warranty) & An IGI (International Gemological Institute) or GIA (Gemological Institute Of America) gemstone certificate if you purchase a diamond greater than 0.35ct. You can track your individual gemstone report on the institutes’ official websites.

  • PRICE

    Reimagine Service starts from £500 (incl. VAT). The price depends on the existing jewellery, the complexity of the new design and the selection of materials and gemstones. It is important to keep in mind that we are only designing for you, so we can work on a budget that you would feel comfortable with. We are able to adjust the design following your specifications.

    PAYMENT METHODS

    We accept bank transfers and all major debit & credit cards including Mastercard, Maestro Card, Visa, Visa Electron, American Express, JCB, Discovery Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay and interest-free instalments payment options such as PayPal, Klarna and Afterpay/Clearpay.

    QUOTATION

    Re-designing a piece of old jewellery is an intricate job. Therefore, it is hard to give an example of the price as each design is entirely different. But you will be glad to know that we can re-use the metal and gemstones (this is entirely up to you) from the existing pieces, which means we could save costs on this. If you would like to get a quotation of your ideas or designs, or simply want to learn more about our pricing or have a chat, please feel free to get in touch.

    • Instead of buying your loved one a ready-made present, why not gift a Reimagine make-over’ for their existing jewellery.

    • The amount of the gift card can be kept confidential.

    • You can also provide inspiration and creative input toward the Reimagine design.

    • The Reimagine gift card can be exchanged for a normal gift card.
