Inspired by melting icebergs and their impact on Antarctic wildlife, the Tears collection is a series of minimalist, metaphorical designs that draw from nature, architecture and Chinese calligraphy. The Tears of Hope Bangle, which won a Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Award in the sustainability category, inspired Edward to create a collection dedicated to global warming. Many of the designs capture melting details and philosophical stories from nature.

The Tears Ring depicts the moment ice turns to water. The ring's shape references Antarctic animal skeletons, Parametricism architecture and Chinese calligraphy. Like all pieces in this collection, it is handcrafted from 100% recycled precious metal and features a natural, ethically sourced diamond. It is available in gold or rhodium plated silver, in marquise-cut and in emerald-cut. Our skilled craftspeople use century-old techniques to set the stone by hand, creating a perfect finish.
