IPER
Inspired by our glittering yet mysterious galaxy, the Iper collection is a puzzle of modern and galactic references. Imagine being able to pixelate everything else and only see the things you wish to see; this is the initial concept behind the collection. The idea was inspired by a sight-blocking technology from an episode of the dystopian TV series - Black Mirror. The shape of the design took reference from the classic arcade game - Tetris. The designs feature a pop and contrasting colour palette inspired by Modern Art Deco and Cubist art.
DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Many designs in the collection are whimsical yet elegant, featuring an arrangement of cubes inspired by Modernist art. For example, the Alexi Ring is finished in a silhouette of a ribbon, while the Chichi Ring depicts a galaxy filled with dazzling stars. Edward assigned each cube to a star from our universe. Each enamel is hand-painted in precision by our artisans, and each gemstone is ethically sourced and carefully selected by Edward. Therefore, each cube encapsulates a unique and fascinating story.
All the pieces from the collection are made with Fairtrade or recycled precious metal, and each piece of gemstone is set by hand in our London workshop. All stone settings and platings are completed after orders are placed to minimise stock wastage and better protect our environment. All the designs in this collection are also available in 18ct gold or platinum.
